Call Of Duty is a unique realistic first person shooter played by millions. All of the Call Of Duties are based on past American wars besides Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare which is based on no war and instead bases itself on modern warfare. I have been playing the series since its beginning and i believe it is by far the best first person shooter and shooter series/games ever made.


Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call Of Duty: World At war are the newest addition to the series and have made groundbreaking changes to online play. They are incredibly realistic and really get you into the game almost making you believe you are there at times. The sound effects are amazing and they both have crazy visual effects combined with sound and vibration to again really get you into the game. Online play is very competitive and fasted paced, you will die if you let your guard down for a second. Searching for matches in matchmaking is surprisingly fast and there are always hundreds of thousands playing.  So far i have not played one game where someone was using mods or cheats, however you will sometimes see people exploiting glitches often.

A big part of the online matchmaking is cooperative mode. In cooperative mode you can team up with other Xbox live players to beat the game on campaign. it also offers you a very nice scoring method and scoreboard so you can compete with your teammates to get the highest score. The game play is intense and difficult and the story line stays pretty much the same as in the normal campaign.

One of the other most popular parts of Cod 5: World At War is Nazi Zombies. This is a mode listed in the cooperative mode and is available to play on xbox live with teammates. In Nazi Zombies you are stuck in a building with Hordes of Zombies coming through windows and doors all over. You have to kill all the zombies and keep the windows boarded up for an endless amount of levels. Once you kill all the zombies the level is over and another begins in a matter of a few seconds. After each level the zombies get faster, stronger, and harder to kill. This makes it very challenging and exciting and sometimes scary. You will often find yourselves getting startled when a zombie creeps up behind you. Honestly, I have never played any game as exciting and challenging as Nazi Zombies and pretty much everyone i meant who has played it agrees.
