Is it true that it is addictive? (Did you start out with a tiny butterfly and now have them everywhere?)

When I get one (should be soon) will be of my fiances name but I dont know where to put it & I'm freaked out on how bad it will hurt! Embarrassed

I don't think i'll ever get a tattoo, i'm not totally against them but i'd hate myself if i got one and then didn't like it.
