My Review
Ah, the episode where Bart get's "Smart", 7G02 - Bart the Genius.
I Must, of course, mention that this is the first use of the words, 'Eat My Shorts.' and the first couch gag!
anyway, this episode had some great jokes: The Kwijibo Joke, How to put on a tie and the opera scene.
The Episode showed Homer's nice side, the side that makes him seem like he is trying to be a good father, which i loved!
It still had some not so good things about it though.
The First couch gag was one of the worst!
also this episode had some of the most pointless moments, the 'Id' conflict, the Spelling of Weiner and some other boring moments.

My Favourite Quote from the episode was this dialouge between Homer and Bart:

Homer: P-U! When is this thing over?
Bart: It ain't over till the fat lady sings!
Homer: Is that one fat enough for ya, son?

So i give this episode a 8.5/10 rounded down to an 8, the episode was slightly better then the previous episode. I used to like this episode alot more, but it seems to be one of the episodes that get old the more you watch them.

Professor Farnsworth: Oh, I always feared he might run off like this. Why, why, why didn't I break his legs?

Well i really like this episode... I would say it is on my top 100. It really shows other sides to not only homer, but also Bart. The school he goes to is also really cool, i would have loved to have gone there instead of the boring highschools i went too. The creators really did a great job making you feel Bart's pain also i think.

Overall i am going give it an 8.5
