Found some more information about season 23.

Season 23 was announced in July 2010. It will premier in the September 2011.

Episodes
 ?Season 23 will feature a 2011 Christmas special where we will see The Simpsons 30 years in the future in which Bart, Lisa and Maggie bring their own kids over to Homer and Marge's for Christmas.[1]

I dont know what to say about the xmas special. Sounds so....great! If you ask me the simpsons has been falling and getting worse than it used to.. But now i think they can turn the tides some of these sound excellent!
